Premier Peyton Manning Investment Piece
Perhaps the single most coveted football card issued during the 1990s! From the rookie production campaign stemmed many rare and desirable issues, but undoubtedly the most iconic was the Playoff Contenders Rookie Ticket issue; condition sensitive and scarcely seen on the open market. From within that desired issue stemmed the iconic Autograph parallel which is rumoured to have a print run of only two-hundred. Offered here is a Registered Exchange example which is limited to only eight copies taking advantage of the promotion. Referencing Cardboard Connection, "to help encourage collectors to build sets, Playoff has a special exchange program from the release. Registered Exchange cards are available for the Rookie Ticket Autograph and are essentially the regular card but with a gold serial number stamped on the back." As far as we understand, collectors had to assemble the complete set in order to send it in for a customized reverse stamp. The offered Manning was apart of the 4th complete set submitted, hence the '4' gold stamp on the reverse. The overall condition of this fine-art equivalent makes it even more spectacular as it's held within a mind-blowing BGS 8.5/10 holder. Those who study the issue, understand how difficult it is to locate this card with a pristine autograph as they're often seen faded or smudged. The card itself suffers from some extremely minor edge chipping but boasts tremendous eye appeal and qualities for the assigned assessment. Posting an unprecedented five NFL Most Valuable Player Awards and 71,940 career passing yards, Peyton Manning will forever be known as an all-time great and one of the most important figures to ever play in the NFL. With the combination of Peyton Manning's brand and his incredible feats as a NFL Quarterback, we feel that this critically important rookie card will generate a high return on investment over the years. Don't miss your chance to acquire this world-class commodity. Comes highly recommended by PWCC. Please see the video highlight for more details on this offering. Part of an extensive run of high-grade 1998 Football rookies and stars on the market this month. The vast majority of the cards offered here are Peyton Manning rookie cards, followed by Randy Moss and Charles Woodson. Easily the finest grouping of key rookie cards from the year to be publicly offered in some time. One of over 22,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 12th Auction of 2020. Safeguarding the integrity of bidding on our auctions is our highest priority. For the trading card marketplace to function effectively, the honesty and integrity of the participants must be ensured. Collectors deserve a legitimate marketplace, free from manipulation by the auction house, consignors, friends of consignors, friends of the auction house, or anyone else who seeks to exert artificial influence on the sale price.
For details of the procedures we use to monitor our Marketplace, please refer to our website under the Marketplace Tenants tab.
Placing a bid in our auction demonstrates a commitment to complete the purchase. Any buyer who does not pay for an item will be permanently blocked from bidding with PWCC and reported to eBay.
In addition to paying direct through eBay, PWCC is proud to offer several additional options to enable easier payment for auction winnings including the option to submit cards to one of our auctions in lieu of payment. Please contact PWCC with any questions about these payment options.
Returns are only accepted if an item is misrepresented in the auction title, description, images, email, or phone communication. Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for return. We strive to be reasonable in the event of a disagreement and ask that buyers afford us the same level of fairness. Misrepresentation of an auction item is exceedingly rare.
We at PWCC are not professional graders so we trust in the reputation and opinion of 3rd party professional graders. Professional grading is subjective and different 3rd party graders will often disagree over the grading on a single card. Such a disagreement is not a justifiable reason for a return with PWCC.
As a broker of graded trading cards, our responsibility is the accurate description and delivery of the item advertised; not to guarantee how a graded card will be assessed by different grading company. Any issue a buyer has with a card's professional grade should be addressed with the company that graded the card.
Safeguarding the integrity of bidding on our auctions is our highest priority. For the trading card marketplace to function effectively, the honesty and integrity of the participants must be ensured. Collectors deserve a bidding environment that is 100% legitimate and free from manipulation by the auction house, consignors, friends of consignors, friends of the auction house, or anyone else who seeks to exert artificial influence on the sale price.
PWCC proactively monitors the behavior of bidders. We reserve the right to contact bidders who place bids outside the guidelines outlined below, and in some cases, we will choose to cancel bids and block bidders from participating in our auctions.
