When selected 199th overall in the 2000 NFL draft, New England Patriots fans didn't celebrate and it's likely most fans didn't even know Tom Brady existed. When the season started soon after, Brady was the #4 Patriots QB and likely felt impossibly far away from being a starting QB. We all know the serious of events that led Brady to be the starter in 2001, where he took full advantage and never looked back. Always playing with a chip on his shoulder, Brady has gone on to win six Super Bowls, win three MVP awards and continues to play the game with great efficiency. At the time of writing this, Brady has thrown for 20 TDs, 2398 yards and has led Tampa Bay to a 6-3 record; not too shabby for the old timer. The 2000 SP Authentic football set consisted of 60 short printed rookie cards, each of which has a full color, action photo of the player with a white border, silver foil highlights and the SP Authentic logo. All we can say is, thank goodness Tom Brady was included in this production as it's easily one of the most important modern rookie cards in existence. This card is outstanding from every angle and fully lives up to the lofty assessment. Looking like it was recently pulled from a pack, the card boasts 50-50 centering along with undeniable GEM MINT card stock. Entirely void of typical chipping and other imperfections with tremendous gloss and registration. The periphery is crisp and all four corners are dagger sharp. Everything is where it's supposed to be when upholding the lofty assessment. A truly world-class offering which is often the end goal for most Tom Brady hobbyists/investors. Please see the video highlight for more details on this offering. One of over 25,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 11th Auction of 2020. Placing a bid in our auction demonstrates a commitment to complete the purchase. Any buyer who does not pay for an item will be permanently blocked from bidding with PWCC and reported to eBay.
In addition to paying direct through eBay, PWCC is proud to offer several additional options to enable easier payment for auction winnings including special financing and the option to submit cards to one of our auctions in lieu of payment. Please contact PWCC with any questions about these payment options.
Our return policy is not a no-questions-asked return policy. Returns are only accepted if an item is misrepresented in the auction title, description, images, email, or phone communication. Buyer's remorse is not a valid reason for return. We strive to be reasonable in the event of a disagreement and ask that buyers afford us the same level of fairness. Misrepresentation of an auction item is exceedingly rare.
We at PWCC are not professional graders so we trust in the reputation and opinion of 3rd party professional graders. Professional grading is subjective and different 3rd party graders will often disagree over the grading on a single card. Such a disagreement is not a justifiable reason for a return with PWCC.
As a broker of graded trading cards, our responsibility is the accurate description and delivery of the item advertised; not to guarantee how a graded card will be assessed by different grading company. Any issue a buyer has with a card's professional grade should be addressed with the company that graded the card.
Returned items must be received back in the condition they were received. Original shipping as well as return shipping will be refunded along with the full purchase price upon receiving back a returned item.
Safeguarding the integrity of bidding on our auctions is our highest priority. For the trading card marketplace to function effectively, the honesty and integrity of the participants must be ensured. Collectors deserve a bidding environment that is 100% legitimate and free from manipulation by the auction house, consignors, friends of consignors, friends of the auction house, or anyone else who seeks to exert artificial influence on the sale price.
PWCC proactively monitors the behavior of bidders. We reserve the right to contact bidders who place bids outside the guidelines outlined below, and in some cases, we will choose to cancel bids and block bidders from participating in our auctions.
We ask that the bidding community assist us in identifying concerning bid behavior on any of our auctions. Please notify PWCC of any suspicious behavior by sending an email to our bid monitoring team. Contact information can be found on our website under the “Buyers” tab. Thank you for helping us ensure the integrity of the marketplace.
